Alissa is a library technician with the Knowledge Translation department at Unity Health Toronto, where she has worked for the past 8 years. She is involved in all steps of the knowledge synthesis process for systematic, scoping, and rapid reviews, economic evaluations and methodology projects. She is a passionate advocate for library technician involvement in knowledge syntheses and a promotor for library technicians in non-traditional roles. An active participant in organizations, Alissa is also an executive member of the THLA Library Technician Subcommittee, a web developer for the CHLA Knowledge Synthesis Interest Group, and a member of the HSICT Professional Practice Subcommittee. Outside of work, she loves travelling and going on adventures with her family and dog.
