Please consider submitting a presentation proposal for the UNYOC 2018 Annual Meeting!
Our meeting will take place in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, November 14-16, 2018. This year’s theme is Crossing Borders, Breaking Boundaries.
Presenters will receive a reduced registration rate of $50 (CAD or USD) for the full conference – a 50% discount from the regular member package price!
We are accepting submissions for member presentations, posters, and lightning talks here. This is a great opportunity to present before a friendly group. Please consider submitting an abstract.
Member Presentations
If you have recently completed a research project or created a new program or service, think about submitting a Member Presentation proposal. Ongoing projects are welcome too! Considering this year’s theme of “Crossing Borders, Breaking Boundaries,” possible topics of interest may include:
- Collaboration with other health sciences professions
- Ideas and services that are not typically created or offered by librarians
- Incorporating emerging technologies into library programs and services
- New ways to conduct library advocacy
- Changes in program design
Posters
Posters will be on display throughout the day, Friday, November 16th. Authors will have the opportunity to discuss their research and/or projects for approximately 45 minutes on Friday morning.
Lightning Talks
These 5 minute presentations are the perfect opportunity to share new ideas, projects, services, or research updates. Presenters are limited to 3 to 5 slides. Please consider submitting to this quick, easy, and fun category today!
Presentations from our members are what makes our annual meeting a success, so please consider submitting a proposal.
Thank you, and we look forward to hearing from you at UNYOC 2018!
